Below you will find answers to some of the most frequent questions we receive at DeVinus.

Why am I invoiced by Cinnamon Global SL?

Devinus Wine&Food Tours is ownership of CINNAMON GLOBAL, S.L.(VAT B-85625424, C.I.C.M.A 3536), and all the charges and invoices of Devinu’s Services will be done by Cinnamon Global.

What size are the groups?

For Gourmet Gateway Tours, we join groups from 15 to 50 people.

For Private tours, we have groups of 2 or more guests inside high-class vehicles. We don’t normally join groups or single travellers, due to all of our tours are personal and exclusive.

We also offer corporate groups of up to 200 guests for special events.

How much wine tasting is included in the tour?

Depending on each winery, you’ll taste whites, reds, rosé and sweet wines, and you can taste as much as you wish. These wine tastings are included in your package.

What wineries do we visit on tour?

We usually visit large corporate style, medium family-style and some boutique wineries. In all of them you’ll find great hospitality, award-winning wines and ambiance. You can see the different styles of each type of winery!

What type of restaurants do you go to on tour?

We visit excellent restaurants and winery restaurants.

What is the menu?

Menus are normally large testing menu,  pairing the appetizers, entrées and desserts with the different wines of the area. These menus are prepared by top chefs using fresh ingredients of the region so they do change seasonally.  We do accommodate for dietary restrictions, just let us know.

What is the dress code?

Dress code is casual, you are on holidays!.

How do you book a wine tour?

To book a tour with us just send us an email confirming us the date or the route, number of people amd the hotel where we should pick you up. Also, if you have any reachable cell number in Spain, it’s nice to know it. For firm reservation, we don’t ask for any payment in advance, we trust people and, so far, our guests never have let us down.

Do you still tour on rainy days?

Yes, wine tasting is great on rainy days too as you are inside for the majority of your tour tasting wines and visits.

How old do you need to be to tour?

We accept guests 16 years of age and over for our tours, this is a great experience for a teen to learn all about wine making and a great family tour.

Can I purchase wine on the tour?

Yes you may purchase wines and other gifts from the winery boutiques.

What do you see and do on tour?

The duration of the tour is approx. 12 hours, leaving the hotel between 7am and 8am and returning at 8pm, but we are flexible with timing, as our main goal is your satisfaction, we can adapt the scheduling and itinerary to your needs.

You will see how wine is made and enjoy a structured wine tasting at all wineries visited guided by local staff of each winery (owner, winemaker, PR,…). Also we will visit historical and medieval places, as Toledo or Segovia, and you can learn about the Spanish history.

Is there a busy time to tour?

Yes, the busiest time of year is September and October that is when the wineries are harvesting the grapes so there is so much to see and do.

Does our tour guide stay with us?

Yes, we have the most amazing tours guides who know the area, all about wine making and have fun personalities.
They can join you for lunch or not, as you prefer.

What to look for in a tour company?

Look for a tour company that is dependable, does not charge extra hidden fees, has an excellent reputation, loves what they do and has been around for a while.

Can I take pictures on tour?

Yes, grab your camera and cell phones for picture taking.

Yes, we have plenty of repeat guests, please let us know and we will do our best to tailor for you new exciting wineries.

What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel your tour up to 24 hours ahead of time and there will be no fee charged, except for the Gourmet Gateway Tour, which has its own policy. Cancellations must be made by email or phone. Last minute cancellations will be charged 25% of the total charge.
