Key information

cathedralInToledoToledo is a province of central Spain, in the western part of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. It is partially bordered by the Community of Madrid. The capital of the province is a city with the same name of the province: the historical city of Toledo, just only 50m miles from Madrid. Most of the province is crossed by the Tagus River (Tajo in Spanish) and its numerous tributaries.

Even though the province is mostly plain, in the northwest there is a mountainous area that joins the “Sierra de Gredos” and in the south are the steep mountains of Toledo. Of the province’s 546,538 people, only about 1/9 live in the capital, Toledo, which it is also capital of the autonomous Community. The most populated city in the province is Talavera de la Reina with 83,793 inhabitants. The province shares the “Parque Nacional de Cabañeros” with Ciudad Real province. The main crops are olive oil, wine, cereals and fruit and vegetable products in the banks of the River Tagus.

All of these convert this land into a magnificent place where incredible products are produced, and excellent people work and enjoy life!.
